The First 12 years ….Why Broward?

Broward County is the second most populated county in Florida. For Brazilians, it is practically a second home, with the highest percentages of people from Brazil in the United States. Broward, is strategically located between Miami-Dade and Palm Beach counties. Home to some of the warmest and clearest waters, beautiful sand beaches, and calming breezes. It’s the perfect place for a beach vacation, with opportunities for lots of fun and adventure. Enjoy great dining, five star hotels, exciting water sports from deep sea fishing to paddle boarding or just relaxing on the beach. You can visit one of our many fabulous parks, take in a game of golf or tennis, do some unique shopping, or embark in magical boat rides.

Over 360,000 Brazilians live in Florida. In 2011 alone, 440,000 Brazilians entered the United States. In 2013, more than 1,2 Million Brazilians entered the United States. Brazilians wire over $5 billion to Brazil annually. Seventeen (17%) have bachelor’s degrees or higher. According to Brazil’s Central Bank, Brazilian citizens invested $20.5 billion in the US in 2008, after having invested $7.1 billion the year before. More than 1 million Brazilians visited Florida in 2017. Brazil ranks third in the world for providing Florida with the most tourist visitors behind Canada and the United Kingdom. Broward County is the second most populated county in Florida.

There are nearly 1,600,000 Brazilians residing in the USA today.
